Crockpot French Dip

French Dip is easy, makes a large amount, freeze some for a later date.

3 lb Chuck Roast Beef
1 bottle of Beer (I prefer Michalob Ultra)
1 can Beef Broth
1 can French Onion Soup
Garlic Powder
Provolone Cheese
Sauteed Mushrooms (optional)
Buns

Lay the roast beef in the bottom of the crock pot.  I open the bottle of beer and let it come to room temperature and go flat, this takes away the foam.  Sprinkle the roast beef with Garlic powder.  In a bowl, mix the beer, french onion soup and beef broth.  Pour over roast beef. Cook on high for 2 hours, then to low for 6 - 7 hours.  Take the top off and shred the beef or you can remove it and slice it thin.  On a bun, place the meat, sauteed mushrooms and provolone cheese.  Use the juice for dipping.

Enjoy!
