Polish Pottery & Kids
Customer "I LOVE Polish Pottery, but I CAN"T buy it, I have KIDS!" I've heard this phrase quite often
My response is: "What is the worst thing that can happen?"
Customer: "Well, they could break it"
This is a true statement, but instead of always worrying about what could happen, why not buy a small item and take the opportunity to let your children use the item?
My oldest son (8 yrs old), has been around the pottery his entire life. He has helped me unpack the boxes & put the pottery away on the shelves. He has "played" with the dishes, bowls, creamers etc. He has never broken or chipped a piece of pottery.
Both of our boys (ages 8 & 3) eat their morning cereal out of Polish Pottery Bowls, they each put their bowls in the sink after finishing. Admittedly, I am always a little nervous about the 3 year old, he isn't always the gentlest boy, but each day he puts his bowl in the sink - so far, so good - no broken bowls.
They have been drinking hot chocolate using bubble mugs since they were old enough to hold them in their hands. No chips or breaks.
Polish Pottery is some of the strongest, most durable pottery in the world. It is so beautiful, unique and just fun to use. Now, quit using your kids as an excuse, buy yourself a lovely mug (and maybe a small one for them) and enjoy it together!
