I love it when Hollywood gets the details of a movie or show right, it means they have done their research.  I appreciate the details of a job well done.  The details in the Lifetime show "Army Wives" is one of those shows! 

I am an avid watcher of "Army Wives", I don't watch a lot of TV, but I do have my favorite shows that I record and then watch late at night while the house is quiet, it is "me time" and I look forward to it. 

What does the show "Army Wives" and Polish Pottery have in common?  Let me explain.  Polish Pottery is VERY popular with Military Wives.  From what I have learned, while many families are stationed overseas, especially in Germany, the Military Wives will take bus trips from their home base across the border to Bolelsawiec, Poland for a day of shopping at the Polish Pottery Outlet stores.  I give credit to the Military Wives for making Polish Pottery so popular in the USA! 

On the show "Army Wives" the main Character Claudia Joy Holden is the wife of Major General Holden and in their military life, they have lived all over the world.  I noticed that she drinks her coffee out of a Polish Pottery Coffee Mug!  In the kitchen of Denise Sherwood, there is a Polish Pottery plate hanging on the wall.
