Baked Apples

Another favorite for fall - apples.  The smell of apples baking in the oven is divine.  Enjoy

2 T butter
1 t Vanilla
2 t Cinnamon (may use less - I like a lot of cinnamon)
1/3 C Brown Sugar
1 Granny Smith Apple

Preheat oven to 350.  Peel apple and core apple, leaving bottom - I used a melon baller to remove all the seeds. Put apple into your Polish Pottery Apple Baker.  Add remaining ingredients to a saucepan.  Bring to boil over medium heat, stir until sugar is melted.  Pour mixture in the apple core hole.  Put top on baker and bake for 35 - 40 minutes.
