Sloppy Joes

This is my Mom's recipe and a family favorite.

2 lbs. extra lean hamburger
1 small onion - chopped
1/4 C. Ketchup
2 t Mustard
1/4 C Brown Sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Start browning the hamburger and onion in a Dutch Oven, while the meat is browning, add ketchup, mustard, brown sugar and at least 4 C of water (enough to cover meat).  Cover and simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.  The sauce will cook down to a moist sloppy joe style meat.  Smacznego!
