Refrigerator Pickles

This recipe comes from my Grandma - she keeps these in the refrigerator all year long.

1 C Sugar
1C Vinegar
1/2 t salt
1/2 t celery salt
1/2/ t tumeric powder
1/2 t dry mustard
About 7 C Cucumber  (I use the English seedless cucumbers) sliced thin with skin.
Onion

Combine the ingredients, stir until the sugar is dissolved.  Put sliced cucumbers and a few sliced onions in jars (quart size works great) - cover with liquid.  Store in refrigerator,   They are ready after 1 week of sitting in refrigerator.
